Kundalini Yoga Aquarian Teachers Training – Level 1 certification training program – 220 hours

Where – KC Kundalini Yoga Center – 3525 Walnut St. 64111 Kansas City, MO/ Sat Tirath Ashram

When – September 8, 2023 – June 9, 2024.

Once monthly sessions are scheduled for Fridays 6 – 9 pm, Saturdays 8:30am- 5:00pm and Sundays 8:30am – 3pm.

This Aquarian Teacher program is a KRI Level 1 certification program in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, Hatha Yoga, White Tantric Yoga, and Vedic Science. This training takes you to the source of the True Kundalini Yoga teachings, and graduates are fully certified as Instructors through the Kundalini Research Institute, as well as through The Yoga Alliance.

Training provides 220 hours, including 180 classroom hours of instruction in Yogic Philosophy and Origins of Kundalini Yoga, Postures, Kriyas & Meditations, Yogic and Western Anatomy & Physiology, Humanology, Sound & Mantra and 3HO Lifestyle, resulting in certification through Kundalini Research Institute. Teachers who are KRI certified are enrolled in the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA) and are eligible to register as RYT 200s with Yoga Alliance.

Lead Trainers are Karta Purkh Khalsa, M.Ed., who is a primary E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, and Sat Inder Kaur Khalsa, MSW have been teaching Kundalini Yoga & Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 1976 and conducting Level 1 Aquarian Teachers Training annually since 2003.

Tuition Options –

$2,200 if paid in advance, before start date.

$2,400 with payment installments;

The full time student/senior (65+) rate is $2,000. Prepay for the training before start date.

The second tuition for a couple is also discounted to $2,000 for the second trainee. (prepay for the training before start date)

Send your $200 deposit by 9/1/23 to hold your space. Tuition may be paid by cash, check, or credit card. All tuition must be paid by 6/7/24.

Tuition covers 3 training manuals and an information binder. It does not cover the fees for 20 kundalini yoga classes taught by KRI-certified teachers, which are required for certification. Yoga class fees at the 3HO Kundalini Yoga Center are discounted 50% for students enrolled in Teachers Training here. Accommodations are available at the KC Kundalini Yoga Center on a donation basis by reservation.

Level 2 Teachers Training - Conscious Communication

Level 2 Teachers Training Conscious Communication coming to Kansas City October 21-22, November 18-19, 2023, and January 20-21, 2024.

Conscious Communication is a 62- hour Level 2 Module (50 classroom hours) of powerful transformative yoga kriyas, meditations, and wisdom developed by KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) from the teachings of Yogi Bhajan to advance Level One certified instructors to the Practitioner Level.

The goal is to give instructors the opportunity and experience of mastery over communication through infinite consciousness that will uplift and inspire others through their presence and action. Conscious Communication enables the teacher to connect with the infinite and relate on a deeper level to the self and others with compassion, courage, neutrality, and awareness.

Each of the 5 modules in the Level Two – Practitioner level of Certification, requires 50 hours of classroom experience followed by a 90 day meditation and 12 hours of home study. The other modules are: Mind & Meditation, Authentic Relationships, Vitality & Stress, and LifeCycles & LifeStyles. Completion of all five modules is required by the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) for certification at the Practitioner level.

Course fees – $754 if pre-registered and paid in full by 10/1/23, $854 full registration with time payments, and $700 for full-time academic students and senior (65+). Tuition includes the Conscious Communication Manual & Study Guide, 2 DVDs of Yogi Bhajan’s lectures and meditations for the course, and lunch and snacks each day.
